Lately I have been thinking about living. Truly living. Up until recently I would get an idea and just let it sit there, never doing anything about it. I hate new years resolutions, but I suppose this sort of is one. I am going to make more of an effort to live life to it's fullest. I am going to make art when I feel inspired, I will bake when I feel like baking, I will go on adventures at 2 a.m., I will do the things I always say I will do but never get to it...
With this new epiphany, I have been making an effort to take more photographs. Here are a few of my photos recently:
fortune.
I learned how to crochet.
I invented a sugar free vanilla cinnamon latte. yum.
Skirt: UO ($20.00) Tights: Target ($7.00) Shirt: Kmart ($5.00) Boots: ??? I got them at store that was closing down and they now don't have a tag... ($4.00) Belt: Vintage (www.Indigolace.com)
I had one of the best weekends in a while. My sister and I hosted an Arrested Development party at our apartment. If you don't know what Arrested Development is....um....watch it. now. It's what made me love Michael Cera.
The weekends have been going so fast lately and we even lost an hour today. On the bright side though, at least it stays light out longer. That's always a good thing :).
I managed to take a pic of what I was wearing today. While there isn't anything very creative about it, I'm going to get in the habit of taking photos of my outfits and posting them on here. It will require me to put more effort into my wardrobe :)
So now I'm sitting here sipping delicious tea and hoping that 7 am takes it's time in getting here.
I leave you with a beautiful song. Last Wednesday, my boyfriend spontaneously took me to go see Rocky Votolato in Denver. I think I needed it. I have been listening to his new album nonstop today.
